It's a mix of music whose selections I may not have grown up listening to, but the feel of soft rock, R&B, & jazz fusion colliding truly channel the feel of being 8 years old, watching reruns of 70's sitcoms on my grandmother's Zenith TV. That's why I took a slice of the "Family Ties" theme song for the mix's intro; it was probably one of the gateway drugs that led to a lifetime of collecting yacht rock wax and adjacent smooth sounds.”
